SAVE OUR SEAS

During my time as a ranger for Kenai Fjords National Park, I was fortunate enough to work on art that would express messages of stewardship for our visitors. This design was turned into merchandise from Alaska Geographic that includes reusable utensils, water bottles, and t-shirts.

‘Save Our Seas’ is a call to action for all of us to take a long, hard look at our choices and how they impact our oceans - for better or for worse. Water is the lifeblood of our planet and all that live on it. It’s imperative that we do the best we can to protect our precious water resources.

For Kenai Fjords, the ocean is the pulse of the park. Glaciers flow into it, creatures thrive in it, and visitors marvel at it. It’s beautiful, vast, mysterious, and exploding with life and energy. Even on land, you can find connections to the ocean and its special inhabitants.
